Explore the awe-inspiring unspoiled coastline of Bere Island with breath taking views, marked trails and easy access to the sea. There is so much to do and see on the island – our favourites include hiking to the Ardnakinna Lighthouse or one of the Martello Towers, the weekly 5km Park Run, a guided tour of Lonehort Battery, high tide pier jumps, kayaking around Lawrence Cove and sunrise dips from the glamping site. Ultimately a holiday on Bere Island is all about switching off, slowing down and enjoying the simple things – spending time in nature, and just enjoying the freedom of being on an island.
